I want to tell you about a confession I have, but first let me say a few things.  Let me tell you about this photo, and why I am using it today.  I'll start with me.  I'm Dr. Borio, the guy on the left.  The beautiful woman next to me is my wife, Maggie. She is holding our son Joey, who is now 5 years old, I am holding our son Vito, who is now 1 year old. Neither Maggie, Joey, Vito, nor myself have used an antibiotic or pain medication in the last 10 years, I want your family to have the same lifestyle.

Let me tell you a story ... 18 years ago something changed my life forever.  back then I was a college student at Brockport State studying pre-med.

I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon,.  During my last year of pre-med, the college would send students to area hospitals for a proctorship.  It was then that I knew I had made a mistake.  I saw unhealthy people who were sick only getting sicker with more drugs upon drugs, unhealthy food, and poor lifestyles.  Worst of all, no doctor educated any patient to change or improve the unhealthy lifestyle that was killing them.

No, instead it was a new drug, a new test, a new specialist, etc.  What I saw in the hospital was death, not life.  it changed me forever.  I knew at that moment I wanted to bring life and health to people.  I wanted to make a difference in somebody's life, not to just make the pain go away nut to change the outcome to make their future brighter.

I grew up exercising, playing sports and eating healthy - and no drugs.  My mother also took me to the chiropractor to get adjusted when I was young.

You know, every day patients come to me and thank me for curing them of this or that, but I have a confession.  My confession is that I don't cure patients of anything.

What I do is make specific adjustments to the spine, and the body responds by healing itself.  Your body was made to heal itself, as long as there is no nerve interference.  Chiropractic adjustments remove nerve interference, allowing your body to heal itself naturally.
